This is my rant feel free to ignore it if you want.

First of all I am inspired what you are doing here. You opened the game for the community which a lot of people have to big egos or need to control to much to do. I have to give you kudos for that. :)
I read the 2000 version of suzerain and fell in love with it. I admit you have improved the mechanics and simplified the new version. The old version had a cerebral quality to it. This seems to be taken out of the new one.
This all being said I am going to make a couple of edits and new pages. Wish me well hopefully it is what you are looking for.

Using The Forums

!Important note

The forums here on www.suzerain.info are live and active, and available for comments, thoughts and questions. However, we're not expecting a mass of traffic - the main forums for ((Savage Mojo|us)) are on the [http://www.savagemojo.com/tiki-forums.php|www.SavageMojo.com] site, and that's where we get most of the activity.

Previously, we had all our roleplaying games and game accessories under the name ''Talisman Studios'', but we've recently brought all our work under one roof, and that's the Savage Mojo site. The wiki here remains a very important place for us, though. It's the beating heart of Suzerain, the ever-expanding universe for gamers, fiction readers, lovers of fine art and people who enjoy entertainment and the arts of all descriptions. Suzerain is central to what we do, with the vast majority of our projects being set somewhere in the Suzerain universe. This is where we catalog all that activity.

As a company, though, we have that other site, and that's where most communication happens. It's mostly gamer talk right now (having incorporated the Talisman Studios material), but we're fast expanding beyond that. Don't be put off if you're not a roleplayer and you want to join in our community. You aren't alone.

Happy Suzeraining,

I've decided to start posting stuff on the wiki, even if it might be a little clumsily layed out at first (I'm decidedly not a computer or wiki expert).

I've plans to put out much of the stuff that I cut from the book as well as fluff stuff that might be interesting for some but would take up too much space in the book "Dogs of Hades".

I'm also very interested in using the wiki for GM-aids for the stressed GM - basically the target audience for any Savage Worlds game...

May the Muses guide you,

This site launched about three months ago now and has been growing fast ever since. We've hundreds of pages of content now, mostly about the ((Untamed Empires)) and ((Relic)) ((realm|realms)). Thanks particularly to Vickey B. and Eric K. for their work in helping me with that task, which is ongoing.

We've also been uploading and integrating dozens of images into the site. Have a browse through the pages to see some of those. Our latest is ((Jiang Brothers Carnival)) which comes from the talented pen of Chaz Kemp, the man who's currently illustrating the ((American Grit)) line of ((RPG)) books for us. You'll certainly see more of his work in due course!

Hello there folks. You may or may not know that I'm the 'behind the scenes' technical guy responsible for this site and pretty much any other technical requirements ((Savage Mojo)) has.

I didn't write the software that powers this site - the collection of people behind [http://info.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php|tiki-wiki] get all the credit there and for the most part they have done an excellent job of providing me with a very cool and powerful toolkit that I've skinned and configured.

You might also know that this is one of several wiki's we run on our sites, those being:

Currently, you need to make a seperate account/log-in for each of the sites. Which seems pretty silly I'm sure you'll agree. I certainly do. Frankly I'd love to be able to set something up so you folks could register at one site and have a log-in that works on all of them. Whether you intend to visit them or not, it would be nice to have the option without extra hassle.

The good news is the tiki-wiki software has the ability to do just that. It is a particular module called [http://doc.tikiwiki.org/Intertiki|intertiki]. The bad news is it's 'experimental' and I have tried very (very) hard to get it to work with our particular set up but I just can't get it to play nicely.

We are presently running version 2.2 of tiki-wiki because it was current when I started setting these sites up. A newer version has been released - version 3. Unfortunately that version requires us to be using php5 which we can't do until all of the software we use gets updated to php5. Otherwise we switch to php5 it will affect all parts of our site and because of some fundamental changes the php developers can't guarantee backwards compatibility. It would be outright irresponsible of us to mix and match software like that - your data and ours could be at risk. So we're stuck with php4 and tiki-wiki 2.2 for now.

I'm no php master, not the author of the software, nor possessed of detailed web server knowledge or infinite time to get any or all of these things. There comes a point where you have to accept what you've got and move on to other tasks which need attention I've tried a heap of things and I'm keeping my eyes and ears open for anything else that might help. And that is where you come in. Maybe you are that php guru, or your friend is, or someone you know has been using tiki-wiki for years and knows it inside out. Maybe. And if that is the case, and they don't mind lending a hand... please ask them to get in touch with me - ~np~alan [the at symbol] talisman-studios.com~/np~ and we might just be able to get past this.

If you can help get a single registration / log-in working for all our sites, I'm sure you'd become the hero of every person who ever visits them!
