Pulse drive

Garden of Athena is a far future realm of Suzerain, part of the Catalyst family of realms.

Pulse drive, sometimes known as repulsion drive, was the propulsion system used by the Athenians to navigate within an atmosphere or close to heavy gravity, such as stars or planets.

It was the sole propulsion unit for the Daidalos shuttles and the larger Icharos shuttles? but it was also fitted to the crystal drive ships such as the invasion barges? or colony ships?.

As with many Athenian technologies the energies and science involved were never fully understood, merely accepted.
